Social Justice

Jewish Choices, Jewish Voices, Vol. 6: Social Justice
Many people believe that the world is in need of some form of repair. There are millions who live in poverty and do not have access to adequate health care. Many suffer discrimination or are victimized by hate crimes. Meanwhile, the earth itself suffers from pollution and global warming. And the lives of criminals hang in the balance as the controversy over the death penalty rages on. The special contributors to this volume discuss all of these challenging issues, sharing their opinions and offering potential solutions. As we seek to make the world a better place, this is an opportunity to take a hard look at some of the world’s most pressing problems and take a stand.

  1. MARIANA GRINBLAT says:

I think that we all need to do our part in decreasing the global pollution and be aware of what we buy how we do things and alert those who seem not to do that. We need to face reality and we need to do something about it.

I live in Canada and we have many positive things for the global warming and I try to walk and use the subway as often as I can, have a good day, Mariana Grinblat
